Homecoming Dance

The Homecoming Dance will take place on September 24th from 7pm-10:30pm. In order to attend the dance you must be a Ritenour student in good standing, No OSS for the current 2022-2023 school year, 80% attendance, and all fines paid. Tickets are limited so be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible!

Guest Forms can be picked up from Ms. Alyssa Johnson in office 207. Submit your guest permits to your grade level administrator for signature by Wednesday, Sept 21st, at 3:00 pm. There will be no exceptions. You must have fully filled out guest form to purchase/receive your guest’s ticket. Tickets are $20 for Ritenour High School Students and $25 for all guests. Tickets are sold on September 13th, 15th, 16th, 20th, and 22nd. Sales will take place during lunch time. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER THE BELL RINGS OR AT THE DOOR

 

Tickets may be purchased with cash or card. Please keep in mind that there will be an additional card processing fee for all card transactions.

  1. The Homecoming Dance is a high school activity, limited to Ritenour High School students and their guests.  

Guests of age 19 and 20 will only be considered with a completed guest permit and at the discretion of Ritenour High School administration. All guests must be employed, enrolled or enlisted.  This dance is not an event for middle school students. 

  1. The dance will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, from 7:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.  Doors close at 8:30pm.

  2. Students must be in school all day September 23, the day before the dance in order to attend the dance.  

  3. Ritenour students must show their student  ID  to enter the dance.  All guests must show a picture ID to enter the dance.  

  4. The student must be a citizen in good standing as judged by the administration of Ritenour High School to be able to attend the dance.  Any student issued a 10-day suspension this semester up until the date of the dance cannot attend the dance.  If a student is suspended, either OSS or ISS, the day before the dance, the student cannot attend the dance.

  5. Only Ritenour students may purchase tickets.  A guest permit, approved by Ritenour High School administration, must be presented before a student may purchase a guest ticket.

  6. There will be NO ticket refunds.

  7. Ritenour students are responsible for their guest’s behavior. 

  8. This is a semi formal event, it is the expectation that all attendees dress in the appropriate attire and follow standard Ritenour dress code policy. Anyone dressed inappropriately will be denied admittance.  What students arrive at the dance wearing, they must keep on throughout the dance. Any student who changes clothes will be asked to leave. For clarification, please see any administrator.  The dress code and examples are attached to this form. 

  9. As with all Ritenour School District events, the dance is smoke and drug free.

  10. Anyone suspected of substance use/abuse will not be admitted and may be subject to arrest.

  11. If you leave the dance without permission of an administrator, you cannot return.

  12. This dance is subject to all student conduct policies of the Ritenour School District.  In addition, by purchasing a dance ticket, the ticket holder agrees to and will abide by the above special conditions.

The ticket holder understands that failure to do so will result in denied admittance or immediate removal from the premises.
