
Homecoming Dance
The Homecoming Dance will take place on September 24th from 7pm-10:30pm. In order to attend the dance you must be a Ritenour student in good standing, No OSS for the current 2022-2023 school year, 80% attendance, and all fines paid. Tickets are limited so be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible!
All Ritenour Students must fill out the Homecoming Ticket form prior to being able to purchase a ticket: Click Here for RSVP Ticket Form.
Guest Forms can be picked up from Ms. Alyssa Johnson in office 207. Submit your guest permits to your grade level administrator for signature by Wednesday, Sept 21st, at 3:00 pm. There will be no exceptions. You must have fully filled out guest form to purchase/receive your guest’s ticket. Tickets are $20 for Ritenour High School Students and $25 for all guests. Tickets are sold on September 13th, 15th, 16th, 20th, and 22nd. Sales will take place during lunch time. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER THE BELL RINGS OR AT THE DOOR
Tickets may be purchased with cash or card. Please keep in mind that there will be an additional card processing fee for all card transactions.

Football Vs. McCluer
Join us at Moore Field for our football game vs. the McCluer North Stars! Come cheer on the Huskies and enjoy performances from the RHS Marching Band, Rhythmettes, Ritenour Cheer, just to name a few! We will also be announcing the Parade float winners and the Homecoming Royalty winners during the game.
Game Tickets are $2 for students with IDs and $5 for all other tickets.

Homecoming Parade
The theme of this year’s parade is “Let the Games Begin!” If you’d like a good look at the parade and a chance for lots of treats, be lined up on the streets the parade will drive. Those streets are Bristol, Brown, Lackland, and Woodson. A visual of the route is also included. Any Ritenour School District Groups, Community Groups and businesses are welcome to be apart of our parade you can sign up using this link: Parade Sign up
If you are participating, please have your float and participants decorated and dressed in your favorite board, card, or video game attire. The parade will start promptly at 9am, so we must ask you to be in your spots no later than 8am. After the parade, don’t forget to support our varsity football team facing the McCluer North Stars at 1pm. Thank you and Go Huskies!

Hall of Fame Dinner
Four outstanding Ritenour alumni and one Lifetime Achievement Award recipient will be inducted into the Ritenour Hall of Fame during a special ceremony at Ritenour Auditorium.
The 2022 inductees are:
JoAnn Hornbeck - Class of 1962, an award-winning business and community leader, interior designer, fundraiser and philanthropist.
DeRon Jenkins - Class of 1992, a retired National Football League (NFL) football player, CEO of a successful construction company and star of the hit HGTV television series “Flip or Flop Nashville.”
Don Quante - Class of 1981, a nationally-recognized author, financial advisor and public speaker who is president and founder of Wealth Protection, LLC, a multi-million dollar financial planning practice.
Jerry Zykan - Class of 1969, a dedicated teacher and renowned coach who had great success coaching basketball at the high school and collegiate levels.
Dr. George R. Albin III - (Lifetime Achievement Award), a well-respected dentist and community leader who served 24 years on the Ritenour School District Board of Education advocating for Ritenour students and those with disabilities.
The Ritenour Hall of Fame was established in 1997 to honor graduates who have demonstrated outstanding professional accomplishments, civic involvement and community service. The portraits of the Hall of Fame members and Lifetime Achievement Award recipients are proudly displayed in the lobby of the Auditorium at Ritenour High School. Tickets are no longer available for this event.

RHS Homecoming Assembly

Homecoming Spirit Week
Help us celebrate our Ritenour Community in our long standing tradition of Spirit Week! Each day we will have a different dress up day that students and staff can participate in. Make sure to take a picture or video of you in your spirit wear attire and tag @Ritenourleadership on all social media platforms! See below for the spirit days:
Monday: Anything But a Backpack Day
Students may bring an untraditional item to act as their backpack during the day! Please make sure this is an item you are able to transport through the building as students do not have elevator access. Items must be compliant with all Ritenour School District Policies. Examples of what you could bring would be: A Kitchen Pot, a small Trash Can, suit case, etc.
Tuesday: BBQ Dads Vs. Soccer Moms
Dress up in your best BBQ Dad or Soccer Mom attire! This is a great day to dust off your sandals or your favorite track suit! See the inspiration page for ideas on how you can dress up!
Wednesday: Class Color Wars
Dress up in your class color to represent your class!
Freshmen: Red
Sophomores: Green
Juniors: Blue
Seniors: Pink
Staff: Black
Thursday: The Game of LIFE: Generations Day
